The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the diverse menu options at the restaurant made dining enjoyable. The shower pressure in the bathroom could be improved, and there was some noise from the road outside that may disturb light sleepers.

The staff were both accommodating and very pleasant. The breakfast was lovely and very very good, had incredible meals. The location of this lovely welcoming hotel was excellent, in an overnight stop whilst travelling. It was also right by bar/restaurant, Durham and the Three Horseshoe Inn and the coast and surrounding countryside, Durham and the A1.
